OCD???

We've been feeding Ava quite a few rice cakes lately, and a clear pattern has emerged. Apparently they need to be rotated in her hands a certain number of times before they make their way to her mouth. Not sure what the magic number is, but this strange little ritual of hers has now extended to sweet potato. She had roasted sweet potatos for lunch today, and shreded them down to about the same size as the rice cakes, then rotated them for a while. Strange, strange little girl. Then she mashed them all over her chair, nose, between her fingers etc. Not sure how much got in to her mouth, but at least she enjoyed it!
